Description of Works –

Extension of 1km of Kirkwood Road inclusive of;

  • Full service relocation of 450m of  900d sewer and 600d sewer mains, including access chambers, and inspection structures.
  • Selective clearing through aboriginal heritage zones
  • Working on soft soils with 38,000m3 of preload within an anticipated settlement of 1m over 12months.
  • 42,000m3 of Cut from Borrow Site 4km away to fill on site.
  • 5000m2 of Sound Barrier walls
  • 1000m2 of RSS walls
  • Timber Pedestrian Bridge
  • Maintain existing Cemetery access and reconstruct
  • 1200m of Street Lighting Reticulation
  • Medium Stormwater Structures
  • 15,000m2 of flexible pavements

 

Construction of new Off Ramp from Pacific Motorway onto Kirkwood road including full traffic management, new rigid and flexible pavements, stormwater, RSS walls, Sound Barrier Walls, Parapets and Barrier Guardrails. Construction of new On Ramp from Pacific Motorway onto Kirkwood road including full traffic management, new rigid and flexible pavements, stormwater, Batter Stabilisation, Sound Barrier Walls, Parapets and Barrier Guardrails.
