Pallara Estate

Project Description –

The Pallara urban development was separated into three phases with construction rolling out as forward sales were progressed. SEE Civil’s works to date have included the construction of six civil stages (1-6), an external road and a trunk sewer.

Scope of works-

  • More than 220,000m2 combined earthworks
  • Around 30,000m2 of asphalt
  • 3km of stormwater drainage
  • Quad culvert structures
  • 3km of water reticulation
  • 3km of sewer reticulation
  • 1.2km of trunk sewer at a 7m depth involving significant dewatering
  • Large vegetated drainage swales
  • High efficacy sediment basins
  • Bio retention basins
  • Works undertaken in a declared Fire Ant zone requiring strict environmental management
  • Extensive network of existing live services to work around and connect to
  • High ground water table creating a requirement for dewatering and shoring for deep excavations
  • Required a significant portion of imported fill
  • Significant works with services including a HV power relocation and works near a major gas trunk line
  • External roadworks included 200mm deep lift asphalt pavement and construction under live traffic with complex traffic switch requirements
