Ecco Ripley Estate – Earthworks and Civil construction

Project Description –

The Ecco Ripley Estate is a master-planned community developed by our client Sekisui House Australia is the fast growing Ripley Valley region. To date, SEE Civil has undertaken the earthworks and civil construction for Stages 2-5, a new trunk sewer, 1 kilometre of external road works as well as development works for the $1.4 billion Ripley Town Centre – the heart of the Ecco Ripley development and Ripley Valley. Works to date have included residential, retail and urban development as well well as infrastructure works for services and minor and major roads for the relevant authorities.

Scope of Works –

    • Bulk earthworks exceeding 600,000m3
    • Construction of a 10,000m2 working platform for the construction of a Coles supermarket as an early access point
    • Construction of 4 signalised intersections
    • Installation of 4,000m of stormwater drainage
    • 3,000m of water reticulation
    • 4,200m of sewer reticulation at up to 8m in depth
    • High specification urban landscaping
    • provision of all services including water, sewer, trunk sewer, power and communications
    • extensive retaining structures
    • Use of soil nail anchors for embankment stabilisation along Ripley Road
    • Management of live traffic during external roadworks including complex traffic switches and night works
    • construction of bio-filtration basins
