Centra Park Industrial Estate Development

Description of Works –

The Centra Park Project involved the development of a 64 hectare site into an industrial estate at Yatala encompassing

  • Cut /Fill of approximate 1,300,000 m3 of earthworks material with fills up to 9m in height and cuts to 14m
  • Supply and install 15,000m2 (approx. 3km) of Rock Block retaining walls up to 12m in height including the installation of stabilised earth grid systems.
  • Onsite crushing of site rock to enable production of
    • Sands
    • Road pavement materials
    • Drainage aggregates
    • Concrete aggregates
  • On site batching of over 13,000m3 of concrete
  • Native creek regeneration


Special Features –

  • Allowed the development of our revolutionary retaining wall system, RockBlock
  • Increased land utilisation through the use of the RockBlock which is constructed near vertically.

In 2008, this project was annouced the Winner of Category 3 ( projects $5 million to $20 million) at the QLD branch CCF Earth Awards.
